LumenLens Privacy Policy
LumenLens (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the LumenLens app.
Information We Collect:
Phone number - collected when you create an account, used solely for authentication via Clerk.
Photos - taken within the app and saved to your device’s photo library. We do not upload or store your photos on our servers.
How We Use Your Information:
Phone numbers are used only to verify your identity and keep your account secure. Photos remain on your local device. They are saved on iCloud only if you choose to backup on iCloud. We never access or store them. AI measurement estimates are processed by Anthropic’s API but photos are not stored by Anthropic after processing.
Third Party Services:
Clerk (Clerk.com) — handles secure phone authentication. See Clerk’s privacy policy at policies.clerk.com/privacy.
Anthropic (anthropic.com) — processes photos temporarily for AI measurement estimates via their API. Photos and data sent through the API are automatically deleted within 7 days and are never used for model training. See Anthropic’s privacy policy at anthropic.com/privacy.
Data Storage:
Your photos are stored locally on your device and backed up to iCloud only if you choose to do so. We never access or store them. Your phone number is stored securely by our authentication provider, Clerk. We do not maintain our own database of user photos or personal information.
Data Deletion:
You can delete individual tracks and their associated app data at any time using the delete button within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Photos saved to your iPhone photo library will remain there unless deleted by you. To request deletion of your phone number from our authentication system, contact us at ioanniseco5@gmail.com and we will promptly remove it.
Children’s Privacy:
LifeLens is designed for general audiences and is not directed specifically at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us at ioanniseco5@gmail.com and we will promptly delete that information.
Changes to This Policy:
We may periodically update this policy. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to periodically review this policy
